Commercial Utility Solutions recently completed another five kilowatt residential solar power installation in Mount Warren Park, Queensland 4207.

The solar power system consisted of 20 Q-Cells solar panels and one SolaX Hybrid Battery-Ready Inverter. Mount Warren Park produces about 5 hours of peak solar power output which means the system should be generating approximately 25 to 30 kilowatt hours per day on average for the customer.

The customer had many conversations with other solar power companies over the past one to two years, but hadn’t quite found a solution to help them make the first step to instal solar for their property. Key considerations to help the customer move forward were on the first of July, the customer had a price increase from their electricity retailer in Queensland of 7%.

So their rate per kilowatt hour increased by just over 7% and on top of that, their electricity usage increased by 32%. This is due to the fact that they had been wanting to use their air conditioners a little bit more then they had in previous years and understandably so. This particular client was actually a referral from a previous residential solar power installation near the Gold Coast, and we certainly appreciate when clients refer us business.

After a discussion with the home owners about their future needs, the decision to go with the SolaX Hybrid Battery-Ready Inverter was a simple one. Down the road when the client chooses to add a solar power battery for their home, the system is completely set up and ready to do so. Particularly with the LG Chem solar batteries that we’ve been installing for many other clients lately. The LG Chem Solar battery will work straight away, with the SolaX Hybrid Inverter.

All in all, a great installation. The customer can use their air conditioner a little more, enjoying some cooler conditions over the hot summer months.
